What is LSystem?

Lsystem (formerly titled Blabber) is a content management system/blog engine. So far it has been programmed exclusively by me (Peter Shaw). As a non IT professional I have built the application exclusively in his spare time.

There area myriad of content management systems (CMS) or blog engines available.However, I decided to roll my own in an effort to learn more the internet, programming, and web standards.

Features List

1. Storage and publishing content in XHTML.
2. Content versioning for retirval of previously pubished documents.
3. Basic XHTML WYSIWYG editing of all documents.
4. Multi-site support.
5. RSS and atom syndication capabilities.

In building this application I have relied exclusively on open source software. I have also endeavoured to ensure that content is output as far as possible in accordance with open web standards. More information on the system will be published shortly.
